Pychodynamic perspectives on Chemsex
Service Description
This session will run online and is open to any clinician who works in the field of chemsex and sexualised drug use, who may be interested in developing their knowledge or skillset in their clinical work. Additionally, any clinicians who may be interested in accessing this course as part of their continued professional development. The session will take place over zoom and will last around 2-3 hours with breaks in between. In the session we will cover: • The unconscious motivations of engagement in chemsex • The omnipotentiality of chemsex • Psychotic fusion and violent enactments
Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule please contact with at least 24 hours notice. Please note that I only accept 2 cancellations per client. If you cancel on more than 2 occasions then I will need to discharge you back to the care of your GP so that the space can be offered to someone else who is waiting to engage in therapy with me. Please also note, that if you do not attend a session without notice then I will have to discharge you back to the care of your GP so that the space can be offered to someone else who is waiting to engage in therapy with me.
